Mpumelelo & Abi – How God builds His church

What an honor it was to capture this wedding for a brother and sister in Christ! And also their beautiful engagement memories.

If it was not for their love for Christ and His Gospel, and their passion for missions, they would probably not even notice each other.
Praise God that He is the foundation of their love and the strength for their future!

Amazing to see how God brings in his flock, from all tongues and tribes and nations…and then make them one strong building block in His church, to create families that is not culture bound for how they will live their lives, but completely dependent on God’s Word for everyday living and growing in Him.

Abi, dear friend, I thank God for our friendship…if anyone would love to have a friend, I think it would have to be someone like you. Through your loving, giving, serving and caring character, you truly give friendship a full experience. And when you are so drowned in your passions and your brain gets scattered, it is easy to cover this with love! I love you very dearly and can only hope to be the friend for you that you are for me.
Mpumelelo, strong and courageous, we…and I include my children, have grown to love our uncle Lelo very much…and especially Simon is very proud to remind me that you are also a Zulu!
We feel privileged to share in your journey, to see how God is growing you as a family and how all of this will fit into His greater plan to use you in building His church. Our prayer for you:

For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures. Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement allow you to live in harmony with one another, according to the command of Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with a united mind and voice – Rom 15:4-6
