Eugene + Cecile {our story}

Every person has a story…. a part of our story is that we are not perfect, a part of that story we do not want other people to know about, the story is written up in history and some say they would like to change this story, if they could.
There was a man in history, who lived a perfect life, this man was Jesus and was killed on a cross for claiming to be the Son of the only living God, the Creator of the universe. According to his followers, about 500 eye witnesses, He rose from the dead and went up to heaven. This all happened in fulfillment of specific prophesies revealed hundreds of years before the actual event. Jesus left us with two things, His inspired Word and His Holy Spirit by which we can start to live and write a new story. This is Possible if we believe that Christ Jesus died to pay for our imperfect lives…
….as beautifully explained by the bride’s father just before the couple shared their Love Story Edit with the guests at the reception.
It was such a compelling new view on the title “ons storie”, that I will probably never view my Love Story Edits apart from this Good News message again!
We never have the perfect story, but as you view Eugene & Cecile’s story…may you see God’s grace, His love and Sovereign work in their lives…may He receive the glory, not us.
