In solid Love and Peace they stand -Johan & Elsa

Each couple is so unique and I find it an amazing journey to get to know a couple in their love for each other and their character.  Sometimes it’s naturally flowing and at other times more challenging to discover, but still the reward is profound when the true love and affection is revealed.

THIS day I spent with two honest people, genuinely caring for others around them…not in an expressive overt way, but rather quietly making a difference on a personal level.   They also love the bush veld, so I tried to do something different at Isiphiwo.  We had a bit of a breeze blowing on the day which added to a few awesome moments.  What I love the most about their images, is their love, not expressively revealed, but yet so visibly evident in their quiet moments together…a mature woman totally at peace and secure in the presence of her lover and protector.  They reflect a total different beauty of love, a quiet secure existence that won’t be shaken.

Johan & Elsa, thank you for allowing me and Petrus to capture the essence of your day.  Thank you for also making us feel special and cared for during the day and thereafter, whilst you are actually the special ones.  And then off course I have to add that the pressure is on, your family and friends are clearly looking forward to some offspring!  I can just imagine the awesome parents you will be!  May God bless you abundantly!  And may you continue touching lives with your quiet, gentle and caring nature.  Lots of love from us – Lucinda & Petrus
