A feast with Dean & Hayley
Winter as we know it in Gauteng is dry and colourless. This was, however, not the case where I was going. The venue where I met Hayley was in the middle of Kemptonpark/Edenvale/Midrand and believe me when I tell you, that there is a gem tucked away called Cham Petre. A beautiful 100 year Old Pump house and park reserve, once used for mine testing has been turned into a fascinating old style restaurant overlooking a vast landscape with Fish eagles, game(not the big 5) and many other kind of species. The backdrop was breathtaking! Karen who also has a passion for photography joined me to capture the stunning couple on their wedding day. The day turned out to be a happy occasion where I had so much fun with the couple, their friends and family. Dean and Hayley’s strong loving characters made the people feel welcome, who in turn could not resist in sharing the joy that was so evident at this celebration. Fire shows and poetry created an atmosphere of warmth and closeness where having a feast meant enjoying and celebrating with those closest to you.
Thank you Dean & Hayley so much for your kindness and loving attitudes and for making the shoot a blissful experience. May the both of you be blessed with your journey together as best friends. A thank you also to Karen, the photographer, for helping me. Here is a few images. God bless.
