Matric Farewell – Henco & Natasha
What a privilege it was to capture beautiful memories for Natasha and her friend Henco, at their matric farewell. A special occasion not just for them, but also for their families. We have been friends with Natasha’s parents for all our married life…16 years that I can remember…so I can still recall the time when Natasha and her brother Martinus were small children! For us it has ALWAYS been such a pleasure to see them grow up into loving respectful children. When they were little, they were the only children we knew, that were so diligently taught the ways of the Lord by their parents and that always served as an inspiration to us. I also loved to follow them as they grew up, with curious expectation, to see what the Lord will do with their lives.
In the meantime the Lord also blessed us with 2 little children and now we ourselves have to do the hard but rewarding work of raising two children for the Lord. So what a special occasion this was for me, to see Natasha greeting her school years farewell as such a beautiful, pure and modest lady and now serving the Lord from her own heart.
Natasha, may you enjoy your student years to come. Your heart and attitude is ready for the challenging times ahead and the new journey. We wish you all the best, but most of all, that you will continue to grow in your walk with the Lord. As a child in Christ, the wonderful thing is, that when He has chosen us, He is the faithful ONE to sanctify and grow us through the knowledge of His Word. We love you very much! Lucinda
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping Your word.
I have sought You with all my heart;
don’t let me wander from Your commands.
I have treasured Your word in my heart
so that I may not sin against You.
Lord, may You be praised;
teach me Your statutes.
With my lips I proclaim
all the judgements from Your mouth.
I rejoice in the way revealed by Your decrees
as much as in all riches.
I will meditate on Your precepts
and think about Your ways.
I will delight in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word.
– Psalm 119:9-16
