Romance in the Bush – Larius & Raylene
Always special when a couple book through personal reference. Ihane & Simone are very special friends of Larius & Raylene, and Raylene did Simone’s make-up when I did their wedding photos…I think 2.5yrs ago! Never knowing that we will soon meet again! Special! I enjoyed their engagement shoot so much!
It was indeed a special day with all the friends and family celebrating with them! Raylene looked really beautiful! And as always I love to shoot at Tsekama, it feels like family! Marinda is putting all her love and creativity in this venue and every time I visit there, I am amazed with all the growth and creative work that has been done. And I love the personal feel to the venue, lovely staff serving with all their love. I trust the images will reflect this unforgettable day.
Larius & Raylene, thank you for the privilege of capturing your wedding day. May you walk not in worldliness, but choose to seek God’s wisdom from His Word, building your house on the Rock, and not on sinking sand. We wish you all the best in your relationship. You have made a covenant before God, keep it sacred and nourish your relationship in His Word…we need this nourishment daily.
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” – Matthew 7:24-27
Special thanks to:
Tsekama – Marinda, for the excellent service, personal touch and lovely venue
Raylene’s father – for marrying them in the Lord
All the family and friends that were present – some travelling really great distances to share in their joy!
Also, Raylene’s great grandmother of 94years, who celebrated with them, right up to the garter throwing! Amazing!
