Danie & Mariëtte – Same Day Edit – Oakfield Farm

It was the highlight of the year for Lucinda and myself to end of with Danie & Mariette on the 14th of December 2010 at Oakfield Farm. Their love and commitment towards each other was evident throughout the day. When they got together for their couple shoot, We just watched in silence how Danie showed appreciation, humility and utter respect for his bride and wife to be. It is uplifting to see how God is still glorified through the actions of a bride and groom like Danie & Mariette. Danie, your prayer to Mariette just made me intensely aware how important it is for us husbands to continually pray with and for our wives and families.

If you want to thank and uplift your bride during the grooms speech without any interruption from the boys, do what Danie did… sing to your bride! a song that tells her how beautiful she is and how much you love her! guaranteed you will not be interrupted for the duration of the song and the bonus is a standing ovation from the guests and the boys who were supposed to give you a hard time!

Just a special thanks to my friends and partners in the business, Pierre and Pauli for their dedication support and for realizing the SAME DAY EDIT. Pauli finished the edit in a record time and we were able to show the same day edit to the guests just before Danie & Mariette’s first dance!
