Amazing day with Marius & Veruska in my home town

It was so special to have a chance to do a wedding in my hometown, Louis Trichardt, again…now called Makhado, Limpopo Province.  And off course, the wedding had to be held at Northgate Lodge where Marius manages their family owned venue!  Marius and Veruska is a beautiful couple, completely in love…which made their day even more special to share in.  And the weather was a blessing!

Every now and then, you really see a unique wedding garment, one that really strikes the eye and then you think ‘this is the most beautiful garment I’ve ever seen!’  BUT, after this wedding I really think I’ve seen it!  Especially in the way it was made, to absolutely custom fit and the time that must’ve gone into this piece of art, struck me!  And how precious, if you can say the maker of such a garment is my brother!  I can truly recommend him.  And don’t think it’s only Veruska’s brother that has an eye for beauty, Veruska herself has very definite ideas of stylish decor and settings and carefully decorated the backdrop of their dream day to clearly portray her stylish vintage theme.

Well done Marius & Veruska, you set a new standard for Makhado!  I wish you all the best with your future.  May your presence always make a difference, wherever you go!  God bless, Lucinda & Petrus.
