Sharing so many passions in life – Romain & Mpumi

Romain and Mpumi met each other while working together at Unisa. Both of them have a passion to be a voice for the voiceless. Of their whole day, I found the reception a tremendous highlight and an evening that I trust every guest will always remember and treasure deep in their hearts. The reception was rich in testimonies about the couple, their passions in life and their giftedness. Beautiful testimonies was also given to understand what shaped them in life. I found it very inspiring and at times found myself in tears! Their Mastor of Ceremonies, Mr Zola Ndaba (Mpumi’s uncle), did an excellent job, bringing two families from two different cultures together, the Francis and Motlafi families. And what a joyous celebration it was, filled with so much love and enjoyment. Their 1950 vintage theme was beautifully honoured by the guests and made the evening a visual delight.

Thank you Romain and Mpumi, for entrusting your wedding day’s memories to us. We pray that you will be blessed by our product and that it will be an investment into your relationship for the future…a family treasure. Make-up Couture – My deepest thanks go to Tsholo Ramashala of Make-up Couture. Tsholo and her sister went beyond the call of duty to make sure that I and my retinue looked fantastic, even though I didn’t always feel fantastic. She was my hero for the day!
Olivelli in Northcliff – The team at Olivelli Northcliff team also delivered my beautiful dress timeously and with all the required modifications perfectly rendered. They made me feel like a superstar from my first consultation.
Decorative Designs – Tracey Ladds did not disappointment us with her simple but elegant design of my wedding stationery.
Tienkel’s Vintage Car Hire – they provided us with a beautiful 1960s Bentley and an ever so gracious and patient chauffeur.
Mokgalaka Creations – provided a delicious wedding cake.
Prince Lengoasa and the Ambassadors of Peace – they honoured our vintage theme with jazz music. Their rendition of Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” provided one of the highlights of the reception.
Andrew Michael Francis – cousin to the groom, generously gifted us with his services as a DJ.

Also a personal thanks to my hubby, Petrus du Toit, from Cinema d’Art for capturing the couple’s precious memories on video…looking forward to the final product!
