Vowing their commitment to Companionship in the Bush – Wally & Luzandri

I met Luzandri on her sisters wedding in 2011. So it was a wonderful privilege to be able to capture her wedding in December. And obviously I also couldn’t wait to meet the man who chose this beautiful lady to be his wife! Two-and-a-half years later…my last wedding for the year…in the Northern Province, close to where I grew up…to see so many familiar faces from my childhood again…and to finally meet Wally as well! I really looked forward!

And as expected, it was a beautiful day and really a pleasure a tell the story of their love for each other. Wally is not fond of being photographed, but I think it was fairly easy to just focus on his loved one. Once they started, I could clearly see that he was completely in his comfort zone…the place where he can love and cherish and play with his companion the way they do. And knowing Luzandri as the fun playful one, I really enjoyed to capture their unique love language towards each other. And true to the ‘platteland’, the evening’s reception was a great evening of lots of interaction, divine spit braai, and a lovely party and celebration.

Wally and Luzandri, your wedding day was very special, thank you for making me part of your day! I pray that you will find so much joy in your companionship and that you will seek God’s counsel in perfecting it…living Godly lives in order to bring Him the glory.

Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things. Therefore, do not become their partners.
