We live by FAITH and not by sight…Sarel & Annerie

It was adventure time again. This was one of those weekends where two weddings were taking place and the best of all was that Lisa(my wife) was traveling with me to the Free State on the Saturday and then to Cape Town on the Sunday, pure bliss I tell you!  We were on our way to meet up with Sarel and Annerie  for their most beautiful day at Jabulani Lodge,  halfway between Viljoenskroon and Parys.  The weather was looking pretty dark that morning and already I was preparing for the worst. Rain can cause a few questions for a bride on her wedding day but as Sarel sent her a sms saying “We live by FAITH and not by sight” (2 Cor 5:7) that is when she turned around and smiled for she knew that nothing can stand in their way. While the rain came plummeting down, Annerie was steadfast in her faith that God would stop the rain so they could get married outside as she had envisioned it. Finally the rain stopped an hour later than what we expected. What a beautiful ceremony, beneath the trees with the smell of a refreshed earth lingering in the air. With little time remaining for shooting the couple in low light, it was by Faith and not by sight that God showed me the most amazing sunset  and a car’s light that made it even more spectacular to celebrate this very special day, that was ordained. Thank you so much for your beautiful hearts and the lovely cottage on the farm Lentelus.
