An AfriScottish Love Celebration – Divan & Charice

Divan and Charice’s wedding was my last wedding for 2013! I have done an engagement shoot with them earlier last year and we had so much fun. Engagement shoots is something I really treasure, not only for the opportunity to tell the story of their relationship in it’s engagement phase, but also to get to know the couple on a more personal level. So I eagerly awaited their wedding day and finally it was there, beautiful day, beautiful people, beautiful setting…and a lot more that would unfold!

For Divan and Charice the importance of this day was highlighted by the coming together of their families from all over the world…Zambia, Dubai, Australia and the UK. And off course, South Africa! We had to take so many family photos that we literally had to steal some time in between for their couple photos. Gratefully we managed to get a total of 20 minutes for that!

Divan and Charice, thank you for a lovely day together and for the precious memories that I could capture for you. You now have one BIG worldwide Afrikaans-English-Scottish family that loves you very much! May you work hard to be God-glorifying companions for each other…not following the world’s advice, but truly living Godly lives according to God’s Truth. Lots of love! Lucinda and Petrus
