A year ago I did this shoot of the Mack Family, which was such a wonderful blessing and privilege. It was right after we lost our baby and I must admit, my body took a while to recover…so my time was very limited to blog. But, I still have these fond memories and would love to blog a few precious moments of the many I captured.

Since we got our son from the Muphamuzi Baby Home, end of 2012, we got to grow closer to this beautiful God-glorifying family, who is such a great example of a godly family. I remember the evening of the 25th of December 2012, when we met them and got to spend a few hours in their home with a number of other families…we drove back home in tears that night, realising that we still need to learn a lot and that we don’t really have a clue of how God-glorifying a family can truly be. This family’s example, in one day, stretched our views and humbled our hearts before our Almighty God…who in His good and perfect will, sovereignly planned ALL of this for the journey He is taking us on. Praise God for His church of true believers, strong families like the Macks who serve as powerful testimonies of God’s design for the family, and for His goodness and grace to grow us to Christ likeness.

Josh, Marda and family (especially the older girls), thank you for all your love for God’s people and for your own zealous lives for Christ. May God bless you richly and continue to use you, jars of clay…for His glory. Love you all very much! Lucinda
