Lizelle and Ian dreamt of a weekend like this…all their close family and friends spending a weekend together at Keurboomstrand. And so many treasured people around them, helped them to really make this weekend a dream come true! When we arrived on the Friday afternoon, we could immediately sense the wonderful spirit of unity and excitement among the guests. At the swimming pool area we found the remains of all kinds of fun and games that kicked off the weekend. For the evening everyone enjoyed dinner at the popular one and only restaurant in Keurbooms, Ristorante Enrico. On the Saturday, the guests witnessed Ian and Lizelle making their covenental vows before God, on the beautiful private beach of the resort. Even the dolphins came to witness! From a beautiful sunny day, the clouds soon moved in, but gratefully still allowing for a special sunset glimpse. The evening was really perfect! From sundowners on the deck, to sky lanterns on the beach, to a sparkle welcome, to a lovely cake and dinner, and celebration…and lots more!

Ian and Lizelle are really a beautiful couple, connected and loved by so many people. And they also value each and every friendship highly. In every little detail they intimately shared their story and extended their appreciation for their guests. It was actually amazing to see how much love and effort and thought has gone into everything. And to complete the beautiful picture, it was really awesome to see how much they are loved and supported by their family. Lizelle’s brother, Riaan, had her in tears with the surprise performance of Shaun Jacobs which he arranged in secret. And so I can carry on and on. By the end of the evening we could say with much joy that we have shared in an unforgettable wedding day and an inspiring love story of two people very precious!

And as if this was not enough, everyone joined in for a lovely breakfast picnic on the beach the next morning. By then everyone felt like family and it was really difficult to say goodbye and also greet this beautiful part of South Africa. What an amazing weekend! And most amazing is that we can tell this story and that each image will elicit multiple memories of this extroadinary event!

Ian and Lizelle, thank you for your endearing love for each other, your affection for everyone around you and most of all, your testimonies of how Christ has changed you. Lots of love, Lucinda and Petrus…and little Simon!
