Ballerina Girl…a treasured experience!

I never have time to put each and every wedding on our blog…just work work work…and try to rest in between…hopefully I’ll get into this new goal set routine soon.  And that is how I did this wedding…looking forward to another special couples’ wedding day, to share in their joy and to support them through the stressful parts, gracefully into experiencing the Song of Songs of their lives.  On my arrival at Avianto, I met with Claudia, the coordinator of the day and very friendly she walked me to the the bride’s room.  On our way she broke the news that Top Billing will cover the wedding and quickly briefed me on the does and the don’t s.  I was a bit out of my comfort zone and didn’t know what to expect!  …and didn’t incorporate the extra time that would probably be needed in our time schedule!  So I decided to be true to myself and the way I approach the day and trust that all will work out well.

When I saw Burnise, in an unspoken way, we communicated our highest hope for making this day the most amazing day ever! I saw her shoes….so beautiful and appropriate for her day! …and the creative juices started flowing.  I had a total fascination with her shoes and soon found myself in that awesome place that I visit wedding after wedding.  That place of creativity, where the world’s a stage around you and you quietly pull the strings in that special way that will always make it a blessing, a piece of joy that testify of God’s amazing work when he joins two people in matrimony, when their spirits become ONE.  I could sense a bit of tension in Burnise on this unfamiliar ground, somehow it was real, it was hers and somehow her stage personality just naturally wanted to kick in to cope.  But then at one stage when Top Billing interviewed her (and this knocked on my creative cocon as well), she exclaimed: “Today I’m getting married to John, and it’s REAL!”

Thanks John and Burnise for entrusting me with this special day of yours!  John, you are amazing in the way you love your princess…and that makes you her king.  Burnise, I just stood in awe, in a gentle loving way you firmly arranged your ‘stage’ so that every role player feels special and respected.  When I started to photograph you, I soon realized that you are a very disciplined dedicated professional ballerina.  Apart from the fact that you are world class in what you do, I can see that you haven’t obtained this by chance…it’s a lifestyle, a dedication and discipline that enters every part of your being, your bones, your posture, your movement…your soul.  And it’s awesome to see how John fully supports you, even to join in on a choreographed dance opening!  Well done John!  The value that you find in your family and friends was also very evident in the day….and the beautiful prayer the minister made to proclaim a BLESSED ABUNDANT LIFE over you, I will never forget….I just say, AMEN!

PS. Thanks to Claudia, Lizzie and her team, Ryan and Rory, and my favorite DJ, Luis…who shared this special day!  Due to the demands from all Burnise‘s fans, I finally got to our blog again!  I thank thee.
