Strong affections – Theo & Yolande
My first wedding for this wedding season, and I was excited for various reasons…Theo and Yolande was not completely unfamiliar, after our fun engagement shoot we did earlier this year; also their instruction to me that they don’t expect any glamorious or extreme photography, but that I only capture the natural beauty of their wedding day. I felt very comfortable with that! And then obviously their wedding venue was also a highlight for me, personally my taste in architecture and design.
Yolande, you looked beautiful! It was beautiful to see and experience the strong affections Theo has for you, not just physically desiring you as his bride, but also his strong desire to protect you, to please you, and to see you happy at all times. He really takes your interests to heart. I am excited to see how both of you will grow in your marriage relationship! God’s Word has a beautiful promise to you in 1 Peter 3:7 (following verses 1-6)
You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honour as a fellow heir of the grace of live, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
May you continue to grow in your walk with God. May His Word have the full authority over your lives, your beliefs, your goals and your actions. May you taste and see that marriage the way He intended it, is good, rich and satisfying for life. Lots of love, Lucinda
