Niel & Marlize – The beauty in their differences

I enjoyed doing Niel and Marlize’s wedding so much! Niel is this seriously funny guy. Serious? Funny? He will just say that he is shy and nervous in front of a camera, but on the contrary, I thoroughly enjoyed photographing them for the day. I just love all his unique and honest facial expressions. Their is no pretense in it to impress the Jones’s, I really appreciate people like Niel. And obviously Marlize treasures this as well. She is his best friend and he only has eyes and touch for her. Marlize is so exclusive to him, that I struggled getting him to stand closer in group photos. Marlize, you are a truly lucky lady…this beautiful honesty is very rare to find.

And in the light of this, I truly thank you for such a lovely day that we could spend together…for allowing me to capture your love for each other…it was an honour!

May the depth of your love be never ending! May God in His Grace, draw you near and reveal His character to you, so that you will always be fully aware of the gift of love you have been given…for His honour only. Lots of love, Lucinda

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. – Ephesians 5:25-33
