Peet & Rene’s consuming fire on the koppie!

After each wedding when my photos are downloaded and I look at them again they remind me of so many things that happened on the day. This specific day was one of those wedding days where I would share amoung my friends and family the significance of how awesome God is and how He knows us before we were even born. Creation, and how important we are to our Father in heaven is such a mysterious and wonderful gift.

The most amazing of this journey is how God in His infinite love gave us a gift to be part of His Kingdom and shows us in his word how we must live in His kingdom towards each other…it blows my mind! Peet & Rene’s day had a great example of this journey. In the ceremony the pastor gave such a profound  parallel of Jesus who is like a consuming fire when we follow Him in our marriages.

Afterwards we drove up to the koppie to capture some photos and on our way back there was a fire on the koppie. It immediately came to me what the pastor said and did I insist to capture the couple infront of the flames.  I knew that this was meant to be a spiritual meaning for Peet & Rene.  I pray that your love for each other will always reflect the consuming fire towards one another so that we all can see that God is in control of your marriage.
