Testimony of a Living Hope – Juan & Adéle

Sometimes you are appointed to be a blessing and sometimes you are appointed to experience a blessing…

Juan lost his first wife and was left with two beautiful children, Juan and Tanyeshca.  And although the three of them had a very close relationship, Juan in his humanness was left with a feeling of emptiness.  But as he was steadfast in his faith, he knew that God was still the Living Hope that would carry him through this difficult time of healing.  For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven – Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Praise God for the Living Hope we have in Him, when we completely trust in His sovereign will for our lives.  It was such an honour to be part of Juan & Adéle’s wedding, to see the joy in their lives and greatfulness for being able to walk this road in God’s grace.  It made me think of this beautiful scripture in James 1:2-4:

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything”

Juan & Adéle, may you be steadfast, always trusting in God’s faithful plan for your lives.  Your love for each other, makes you sooooo beautiful!  Thank you for the beautiful inspiration you are on your Love Story.
