Ntuthuko & Londiwe – Two dynamic people vowed their commitment

As quoted by Ntuthuko himself, from the Word of God…’The man who finds a wife, finds a treasure and receives favour from the LORD’ – Proverbs 18:22 (NLT)

Ntuthuko & Londiwe’s wedding will be aired on Top Billing on the 27th January 2011!

When we met this beautiful couple at their house for the prewedding photo session, we had such a lovely chat about couples standing in a relationship before God.  Ntuthuko inspired me to go and read up a bit more in God’s Word, and I found this beautiful scripture in 1 Cor 11:7…’For a man ought not to wear anything on his head, for he is the image and reflected glory of  God (his function of government reflects the majesty of the divine Rule); but woman is the expression of man’s glory and majesty.’

This was basically the origin of the traditional custom we have of women wearing head coverings in worship, while men take their hats off. By these symbolic acts, men and women, who far too often butt heads with each other, submit their “heads” to the Head: God.  When I read this, I found the fact that Londiwe’s head was basically covered the whole day, such a beautiful symbol of this custom.  And although they are two very strong headed people, who know exactly what they want from life, I pray this scripture over you…Ntuthuko, that you will always in everything you do, reflect the glory and image of God in the way you relate to people; with a loving, compassionate heart that works towards salvation for all mankind, and away from building empires and enslaving others. And Londiwe, that you will always protect and express your husband’s glory in such a beautiful submissive way, that you bring God all the glory!

You have so much for you, your wedding day was so beautiful and special, may you now just grow from strength to strength, protecting your treasure in each other and receiving favour from your LORD.  We love you lots!  Lucinda and Petrus

PS. A special thanks to Lucrecia, as wedding coordinator of the day…for all your hard work and communication with us prior to the wedding and also on the day!  Events like this demands a very good coordinator! To Norman Callan, for all your help and care during the day…the dress you made for Londiwe was truly her perfect dress.  Also thanks to Chez Charlene for their venue service, stunning decor and divine food!  And lastly, but not the least to the RJ Benjamin Jazz band, who was outstanding and spoiled the couple with all their favourite songs.
