A letter to God…Ben & Bernedean

Do you know how it feels to be surprised. Well I like it and for me as a photographer its special to see how God works in His own way. This day had many surprises but the two that stood out for me was a scripture on a wall and a letter written to God 5 years ago by Bernedean.  She had written a letter to God asking Him to prepare a husband for her and at the same time show her what she must change in her own life to see Gods dream for her.  Each day went past where she prayed and took bold steps in her life to become a new person who’s relationship with God grew stronger.  Today she is married to great husband Ben and oh so blessed. During our photo shoot on the wedding day while looking for backdrops I came across a wall that had scripture on it and I quote ” But be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think” Romans 12 : 2. I immediately felt that we needed to use the backdrop and found out about the letter at the ceremony. Wow what a wonderful surprise. Thank you for inspiring Regardt(filmmaker) and me and choosing to have faith in your own lives.
