Overflowing love and joy – Mpho & Imi
I had to wait a bit before I posted this wedding, but I can’t wait any longer. This is a special couple with a wedding day rich in memories…and I would love to share their beautiful story. May it bless you like it blesses me every time I look through these images.
Mpho and Imi’s wedding took place in a part of South Africa that is very precious to me. They got married in Venda. I grew up close to Venda and discovered this beautiful piece of our land with the Soutpansberg 4×4 Expeditions, which I co-organised in the late 90’s, while I still lived in Limpopo Province. So guess what…I was really looking forward to venture to that part of South Africa again. And to crown this, God blessed us with a friendship in the Lord, Pastor Reginald, who shares our love for photography and resides in Malamulele (neighbours to Venda). So we had the wonderful opportunity to use him as assistant videographer and spend some time with his family as well. Another blessing for that weekend was a thick cloudiness and misty weather, which immediately broke the harsh temperatures of the week prior to the wedding. I know a sunny sky would be first choice for a wedding day, but everyone was truly thankful for the cooler weather and I was happy to put in more hours of editing to help enhance the colors that was captured.
BUT, most of all, what makes an image a winner; something that will continue to bless your soul? …when you can capture the love and joy of a wedding couple that spontaneously just keep overflowing!
Mpho and Imi, thank you for the awesome memories we could share in, when doing your engagement shoot in Maboneng Precinct.
Thank you for the privilege to share in the excitement of your wedding day…your SAME DAY EDIT also testifies .
We would love to see you grow as a family in the Lord. May you continue to commit your life to the Lord and counsel Him in all your ways. Lots of love, Lucinda and Petrus
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths. Don’t consider yourself to be wise; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. This will be healing for your body and strengthening for your bones. – Proverbs 3:5-8
